Criminal Research Quality Oversight:
Quality control procedures begin with our selection of qualified public records and court researchers. Before a researcher can work for EmployeeScreenIQ they must undergo a stringent testing process. Because our clients evaluate candidates and make important decisions based on the information we deliver, researchers are held to the highest standards for accuracy and depth of information provided. Approximately 70% of the court researchers that endeavor to work with EmployeeScreenIQ are disqualified for failing to pass our high testing/selection standards and probationary period.
EmployeeScreenIQ's Public Records Department and Compliance Staff continuously monitor quality of information. Statistics such as hit ratios and turnaround time are tracked by client, industry, and geographic region. This allows us to recognize anomalies from past experience and ask questions before a problem is presented or exacerbated.
Additionally, the EmployeeScreenIQ Public Records Department reviews every criminal record before it is reported to the client. All felony records and misdemeanor records reported with incomplete information are re-verified directly with court personnel in the prosecuting (local) jurisdiction. All re-verifications are noted in the final report and the agent of contact is recorded. This important final step ensures accuracy and compliance under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Verification Research Quality Oversight:
Verification services performed by EmployeeScreenIQ include Education, Employment, Reference Interviews, Professional Licensing, etc. All completed verifications are reviewed by senior personnel for thoroughness of information, properly noted discrepancies, and grammar. The Background Specialist Supervisor must sign off on each verification before it is cleared for client review. A sample of each Background Specialist's work is audited on a monthly basis to ensure consistency of procedures and results.
Hiring and Retention:
As employment screening professionals, our own hiring and retention policies are of particular significance to EmployeeScreenIQ. Because our clients rely on our ability to provide quality information, we demand that we hire quality individuals to serve them. All EmployeeScreenIQ applicants are subjected to a thorough background check before they qualify for employment. Employees are screened on a bi-annual basis. EmployeeScreenIQ employees are bound to confidentiality and excluded from working on reports for individuals that they know or know of.
